Jennifer is a partner with the firm. While she has practiced in the area of defense litigation her entire career, the focus of her practice for more than fifteen years has been the defense of governmental entities and their officials and employees in a wide variety of federal civil rights and state tort actions as well as appellate matters.
Jennifer has served as President of the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association and a Director for the Texas Young Lawyers Association. She has also chaired the TCBA Law Day Awards Committee and the Elections Committee and has served on the Blackstone Award Committee. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Oklahoma Bar Association and is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and the Tarrant County Bar Foundation.
In 2005, Jennifer received the Outstanding Young Lawyer of Fort Worth and Tarrant County Award, while in 2024 she received the Kirk Jefferies Paschal Service Award in recognition of her distinguished service to the Paschal High School community and was awarded a Texas PTA Honorary Life Membership by the Paschal High School PTA. She currently serves as a board member of the Paschal Enrichment Foundation.
Jennifer received her undergraduate degree in Law and Society and Political Science from the University of Tulsa, where she served as the Student Body President. She was also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and Mortar Board. Jennifer received her law degree, with honors, from the University of Tulsa College of Law. While in law school, Jennifer was a member of Phi Delta Phi and served as the Research Editor for Notes and Comments on the Tulsa Law Journal.
