“At Blaies & Hightower, we have the ability to spend time with our clients,” says Tiffany Self. An associate at the firm, she says where many firms focus on billing clients, Blaies & Hightower focuses on “building relationships.”

Tiffany practices primarily in the areas of insurance related litigation, personal injury/wrongful death, labor and employment law, commercial litigation as well as probate, estate planning and wills/trust litigation. Tiffany is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association, Fort Worth-Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association (member, director, secretary/treasurer, long range planning committee), Texas Bar Foundation (Fellow), and has served on the Eldon B. Mahon Inns of Court Chapter, American Inns of Court. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, the Northern District of Texas and the U.S. Supreme Court and her honors include being declared a Texas Super Lawyer – Rising Star by Law and Politics Magazine in 2008 and a top attorney in the Fort Worth, Texas magazine (2007). Tiffany is also active in her community by serving on the board of directors for the University Christian Church Week Day School (legal advisor) and the DFW Center for Autism.

Tiffany’s legal skills have been utilized in many cases, representing various clients. However, Tiffany’s interpersonal, trial and researching skills were especially instrumental in the representation of a family involving the death of their father while in the care of a home health agency. In the end, the family obtained a substantial settlement, which was an emotional and significant financial victory for the firm’s clients. This case shows that anything can be accomplished by focusing on our clients, developing the proper strategy, and hard work.

Tiffany received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.

“Focusing on the client is what we do best,” Tiffany says. “It’s the Blaies & Hightower difference.”
