Staci Haigood Collins
“Finding solutions is what practicing law is all about,” says Staci Haigood Collins, a partner at Blaies & Hightower. “We find solutions for our clients that meet their legal and business needs.”
Staci has significant trial experience in personal injury and wrongful death litigation as well as insurance-related litigation. She has been recognized as a top attorney inĀ Fort Worth Magazine (2004). And she is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Tarrant County Bar Association.
“I was fortunate that early in my career as a trial lawyer I learned firsthand that the old adage, ‘a lawyer that represents himself has a fool for a client,’ is an accurate one.
“I tried a personal injury case against a lawyer who insisted on representing himself. Needless to say, the gentleman performed poorly on his own behalf and was sorely disappointed with the outcome of the trial. It was obvious to everyone that he was too personally involved to handle the case effectively.
“I recognized then that some of the most important things we as lawyers bring to the table are: objectivity, professionalism and the ability to dispense honest and prudent advice. These characteristics are strongly fostered at Blaies & Hightower.”
Staci received her undergraduate degree in business administration from Texas A&M University and her law degree for Baylor University School of Law. While in law school she was a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Order of Barristers.
“Being a lawyer means finding solutions that help your client,” Staci says. “That’s what I strive to do everyday-find practical solutions for my clients’ legal questions.”
