Joe is an associate at Blaies & Hightower who practices primarily in the area of civil litigation. His specific areas of practice include health care/medical malpractice litigation, complex commercial litigation, and governmental liability litigation. He is licensed to practice in the state
of Texas. Joe received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in Biological Sciences from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. While at Missouri S&T Joe involved himself in various research courses, including biological/behavioral studies and field studies on species unique to the Ozarks region. He was a two-year letterman on the Missouri S&T Miners’ baseball team, and a GLVC Academic All-Conference Honoree. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law. While at the University of Illinois, he served as a Production Editor of the Illinois Journal of Law, Technology & Policy (JLTP), and he participated in the University of Illinois trial advocacy program.
