Cynthia “Cindy” Herron BSN, RN, CPC utilizes a culmination of her experience in government, business, and healthcare to serve as a legal nurse consultant for the firm. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Texas at Arlington and maintains a Certified Professional Coder certification through the American Academy of Professional Coders. Cindy has experience working for the Tarrant County District Clerk and as a manager in the banking industry prior to beginning her nursing career. Her clinical experience includes neurology, oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, public health, and emergency medicine. She is a former member of the Cook Children’s School Nurse Advisory Council, served on a stroke committee for Medical City Dallas Hospital, and was a certified CPR instructor for the American Heart Association. In addition, Cindy uses her experience in clinical coding and healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse investigations to assist the team.
